However, if done poorly, this could be seen as more as a gimmick. How effective are disjointed plot lines toward telling a story? Can they be too confusing or do they offer more perspectives to engage in? Richard, Patrick, Ian, and Brooke dive into anime like Boogiepop and the Others and Garden of Sinners and compare them to movies like Dunkirk, Memento, and Stephen King's It and to mainstream TV Shows like CW's Arrow and Westworld to discuss out if disjointed plot lines are useful or not.
