Ever wanted to dive more into Pokémon lore? Beyond the Pokédex is a new series from The Pokémon Company that will be spending each episode diving into a single Pokémon and examining their appearances across multiple mediums from games to shows to cards. In the debut episode Pokémon researchers Spruce and Maple take a closer look at Pokémon #0816 – Generation 8’s water-type starter Sobble.
From the sound of things, new episodes will be released monthly. While it’s not clear exactly when the next episode will drop or what Pokémon it’ll be featuring, Pokémon enthusiasts know they’ve gotta catch ’em all! Check out episode 1 “Entry #816” here.
