Happy Thanksgiving, gamers! While Thanksgiving itself is a few days away still, the deals that come with Black Friday are already available out in the wild! Most of the major players in the gaming world have some great deals already posted and more will be popping up all week long and into next week with Cyber Monday coming right after Black Friday. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest deals that are currently available.

Microsoft has discounts available on everything from consoles to controllers and, of course, games. Here’s some of the highlights. You can get the Xbox Series S for $250. Microsoft’s discless, budget nextgen console option is $50 off directly from them or at retailers. Different retailers may even have bundles including a stereo headset or games. It also comes with a code for $1 a month Game Pass to really maximize what this console has to offer. You can check it out here. Whether you’re getting a brand new console, need to get a 2nd one for some multiplayer fun, or just want to get a new one after hours of wear and tear, Microsoft has the core controller on sale for $20 off for a sweet price of $40. There’s also deals on different special edition controllers through Microsoft and other retailers. You can find the Microsoft deals here. Xbox games are on sale at various levels up to 67% off! Now most of the discounts aren’t THAT dramatic, but there are some smoking deals available. Games like Madden 23, Gotham Knights, Deathloop, and Halo Infinite are just some of the deals to be found. Sony kicked off PlayStation’s Black Friday deals on Friday and it’s touching every part of the business. The biggest deal is around the newly revamped PlayStation Plus experience. New subscribers get 25% off the annual membership at any level and existing subscribers can save 25% off annually when they upgrade their tier. The DualSense Wireless Controller is on sale for $50 at retailers or direct from PlayStation. That’s for lots of different colors, including the camouflage controller, and not just the standard one. This is a deal to jump on. The PlayStation Gear Store has items for 50% off and 20% off your entire order if you spend at least $10. Seems like a good time to show your fandom and save a little cash. Not to be outdone, PlayStation has tons of its games on discount as well. Spider-man Miles Morales, NBA 2K23, Gotham Knights, and Gran Turismo 7 are just a few examples of the great deals to be had. You can head to Playstation’s site to take advantage of all these deals here.

Nintendo is getting in on the fun as well with deals on popular games and some bonuses with a Switch purchase. Folks who purchase a Switch during this Black Friday sale won’t see any discount but the system does include Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and 3 months of Nintendo Switch Online. That’s not a bad included value for the $300 price tag and Nintendo really doesn’t need help moving systems anyway. As for games, Nintendo is offering up to $20 off of specific popular games. These games include Mario Party Superstars, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, and Bravely Default II. Head here to view Nintendo’s holiday offerings.

Retailers and gaming storefronts will have deals of their own on games, hardware, PCs, PC components, and much more. If you’ve been waiting to make a move on upgrading your gaming PC or adding to your gaming backlog, keep your eyes peeled on sites like Amazon, Newegg, Best Buy, and others. Some casual browsing just might take you to the one thing you didn’t know you needed. Now is the time to look, because everyone will have their sales in full force this holiday season. Happy Gaming!
