Starting June 21st, all Beans old and new are invited to fall into the world of Fall Guys for free! That’s right, the amazing free-for-all party game is going free-to-play on June 21st. It’s perfect timing with the launch of the game on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and the Epic Games Store also coming that same day.
If you’ve been part of the party already, developer Mediatonic is making sure to show you some love and appreciation. Anyone who has purchased and played Fall Guys by June 21st is getting a special treat. Those players will receive a Legacy Pack that contains the Season Pass for the new Season 1, but also a nickname, nameplate, Regal costume, Veggie Dog costume, and Feisty Dwarf costume.
As mentioned above, June 21st is not only the launch on every system ever (not really, but close enough), but it also kicks off a new Season 1! With so many new players joining the party and probably some old players coming back into the fold, Mediatonic has opted for restarting the seasonal clock. Veteran players will get to keep all the things they’ve collected from the beginning, but the new season pass and progressions are starting back at “1”.
It’s a bold move for Fall Guys and Mediatonic to make this switch and start over, but it’s a move that makes sense. With the game finally coming to the rest of the console families, Fall Guys is betting on an influx of new players and it doesn’t want them to feel like they are coming into the middle of something. Are you excited to join the party for the first time? Or have you been around and are stoked to shove some new beans over the edge to assert your dominance?
