In what seems to be the talk of the week on social media, popular variety streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins announced a rebrand of his well-recognized logo. While some like the new look, the overwhelming majority seem to be asking the question, “Why?”. In particular, the font choice of flipping between un-bolded and bolded letters seems to be drawing the most critique among social media critics, including other large brands like esports organization Sentinels poking fun at the change.
While it may not have garnered the reaction that Ninja and his team were hoping for, there’s no doubt that it is pulling in high views and clicks. All publicity is good publicity, right?
