WB Games Montreal released the gameplay trailer of Robin in the highly-anticipated, upcoming game Gotham Knights. DC Comic fans will recognize a familiar face as it will be Tim Drake’s Robin featured in the game. Armed with his signature bo staff and his in-depth knowledge of multiple unarmed fighting styles, Robin is adding a unique skill to his in-game skill set. Using the Justice League’s satellite teleportation technology, Robin can transport around the environment to engage with enemies. Other abilities include firing projectiles that stun the enemy, an exploding hologram, spinning his bo staff to deflect gunfire, along with several stealth abilities.
Tim Drake’s Robin joins a stacked lineup alongside Dick Grayson’s Nightwing, Jason Todd’s Red Hood, and Barbara Gordon’s Batgirl. The time period of Gotham Knights takes place after the death of Batman, which as you can imagine greatly affected Robin. Robin’s story will focus on his journey to fulfill and live up to the expectations of Batman.
Batgirl and Red Hood will be the last two characters to receive their gameplay spotlights. Gotham Knights is set for an October 25, 2022 release and will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
