The stars are aligning for a huge Star Guardian event in League of Legends this Summer from new skins to music videos and more, Riot Games is set to deliver the biggest one yet. This Summer’s event kicked off just a couple days ago on Thursday, July 14th and is set to run through Monday, August 15th with a number of missions to complete and bonds to forge to unlock unique, earnable content outside of the skins found in the shop.
The main story of this year’s event plays out over the course of four to five 3-act chapters with earnable blue essence, star guardian tokens (the event’s special currency), icons, eternals, and/or emotes attached to each as rewards. Additionally, as with most League of Legends events, this one will also offer a premium pass for those wanting to pay upfront for the ability to unlock more content as they play through the event.
One of the biggest parts of a League of Legends event is the skins that come to the shop alongside the event, here are the skins passing through this time around:
• Star Guardian Kai’Sa (Legendary) – 1820 Riot Points (RP)
• Star Guardian Sona – 1350 RP
• Star Guardian Nilah – 1350 RP
• Star Guardian Ekko -1350 RP; Prestige edition – 2000 event tokens
• Star Nemesis Fiddlesticks – 1350 RP
