Nintendo’s definition of “mini” featured 20+ games in a partner showcase that ran just over 25 minutes in length this week. There was a little bit of something for everyone in this one from new Nintendo Switch port announcements to brand-new gameplay footage of highly-awaited titles to indie reveals.

In-terms of ports, Nintendo is beefing up their Switch library with new additions of award-winning titles: NieR: Automata, Portal: Companion Collection, No Man’s Sky, and a collection of Persona games. A number of Nintendo Switch owners have been requesting these ports for quite some time and now it’s finally confirmed that they are on the way. In addition to these titles, Nintendo also dove into the classics, showing off Super Bomberman R 2, Mega Man Battle Network: Legacy Collection, a 3D version of Pac-Man in PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC, and a new take on the legendary Monkey Island IP with Return to Monkey Island.

But wait there’s more! Switch owners also got a new trailer for Capcom’s latest Monster Hunter Rise DLC “Sunbreak”. The latest trailer featured characters from the coastal city of Elgado alongside the Seething Bazelgeuse and Lucent Nargacuga, two monsters that will be making their way to the game with the first free title update of the expansion. New looks at previously announced titles Sonic Frontiers, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Minecraft Legends, Live a Live, and others also made their way into the action-packed stream, showing off a variety of different genres and artistic styles.

The show wasn’t over yet though, as Square Enix’s combat-filled, slice of life, farming simulator HARVESTELLA made a lengthy appearance toward the end, showcasing its breath-taking approach to the merging of genres. The full direct mini partner showcase can be viewed with timestamps included here. Additionally, while being included in the partner showcase, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope also got its own 40+ minute showcase this week as well.
