Riot Games has deepened its relationship with Statespace, developer of popular training platform Aim Lab, becoming a minority shareholder and making Aim Lab the official training platform for VALORANT. Alongside donning the “official” tag, Aim Lab will leverage Riot’s intellectual property to integrate in-game physics, maps, and weapons, further enabling VALORANT players to train to the best of their ability. The two parties will continue to work together to develop structured training programs, as well as coaching and scouting tools.

This is not the first time that Riot Games has worked with Statespace, but reinforces an already strong relationship. The two have worked together on multiple major events from “The Aim Lab Combine” at VCT Challengers North America to a special VR in-person experience at Riot’s Arcane premiere event. Additionally, Riot and Statespace are collaborating to expand Aim Lab into the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) market with tools for Riot’s extremely popular game League of Legends coming in the future.
