Lace up your stealthiest pair of boots and join Amicia and Hugo on the continuation of their journey from Asobo Studio’s 2019 hit A Plague Tale: Innocence. Taking place six months after the conclusion of the original game, the sequel sees the siblings traveling South in search of an island that may hold the key to saving Hugo from his illness. Similar to its predecessor, the newest installment, A Plague Tale: Requiem, will play as an action-adventure, stealth game while allowing combat to take a bit more of a prominent role throughout the adventure.

The latest gameplay trailer gives us a look at nearly ten minutes of new gameplay footage that includes Amicia and Hugo’s updated looks, a sample of the new environments, a tease of the new weapon select dial, and of course plenty of intense moments. Have a look for yourself here.

For those who have yet to play the original, A Plague Tale: Innocence is currently available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC, Amazon Luna, and Xbox Game Pass. A Plague Tale: Requiem is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (as well as Day One in Xbox Game Pass) on October 18, 2022. Preorders are now available with both a collector’s and a standard edition to choose from.
