Gamers got some exciting news this week when Ubisoft announced that Ubisoft Forward would be back in full force come September 10th at 3:00PM ET! After what feels like a long time without any updates, Ubisoft promises to bring back the hype with updates on many of the projects it has in the works across its studios. While there’s no word yet on what exactly will be shown at this Ubisoft Forward, the fact that it’s being announced so far ahead of time and with so much fanfare indicates that it should be a good-sized show. Count on hearing more about what will be shown as the show approaches.

In other Ubisoft news, the publisher gave gamers a new look at the latest (and probably final) iteration of the pirate-themed Skull and Bones. The game, which was first revealed 8 years ago, has undergone several redesigns from its initial reveal with some wondering if the game would ever be released. Ubisoft also revealed that it would be shutting down the servers for 15 games come September 1st. This will affect several Assassin’s Creed games, Far Cry 3, and others for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. If this affects you, make sure you download and install any DLC before then as it will become inaccessible. You can find the full list here.\
