Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 3 asks the question, “Why stop the party when you leave the party bus?”. Season 3 turns the whole island into a giant celebration with bouncy mushrooms, the return of ballers, rideable wildlife, and so much more!
Fun(gi) times ahead!: A lush forest full of bouncy mushrooms and purple trees awaits players at the new “Reality Falls” locale, alongside waterfalls, caverns, and geysers, oh my! Ballers have also made a return, bringing with them the ability for players to roll around and grapple on to various surfaces across the island. They have another high-flying twist this time around though – the Screwballer rollercoaster, a pink rollercoaster that weaves its way through the reworked “Command Cavern”, now dubbed “Rave Cave”. But wait there’s more! If you’re having a tough time finding a baller, you can now look to your furry friends as well and catch a ride on a wolf or boar (upon which you can still shoot and throw weapons while mounted).
The harvest is plentiful: In addition to the newly decorated locations scattered throughout the island, there are also three new weapons: the hammer assault rifle, two-shot shotgun, and the marksman rifle. Alongside the potent power of these three, you can also loot and plant reality seeds that will continue to grow in the same spot they were planted match-to-match, with the chance of eventually returning mythic loot to its planter. Last, but not least the battle pass is packed full of iconic characters like Star Wars’ Darth Vader and fictional archaeologist Indiana Jones to a plethora of outfit pieces to equip.
So get vibin’ players because as of this week the Season 3: Chapter 3 party has begun!
