With the delays to Starfield and Redfall, Xbox has been criticized by some for having an underwhelming catalog of games available in the near-term. After this week’s Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, I think it is safe to say that they’ve more than dispelled those critiques. Since the kickoff of Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest, we’ve seen over 100 games that will be headed to Xbox consoles (not to mention PC and cloud as well) with over 30 showing up in the Xbox-hosted showcase. The craziest part is that all of the games shown in the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase are targeted to launch in the next 12 months and many of them will be included in Xbox’s games subscription service Game Pass at launch. Gamers will soon have their hands full with a plethora of titles to choose from; here’s a look at some of the most notable ones with timestamps:

    • “To create a video game for Xbox like no one has ever experienced or seen before leveraging the power of the cloud.”

Last year gamers loved the Xbox-Bethesda showcase, but left asking for more gameplay to be shown next time around. This time the showcase was packed to the brim with gameplay. While there will always be new criticisms and critiques, we feel that Xbox did a great job addressing a number of the concerns that have been brought to them, while giving us a lot to look forward to in the near future. For those interested, this year’s full showcase can be viewed here in 4K.
